We Proudly Support The Water Project
The Water Project, Inc. is a non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing reliable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation.
For ten years, The Water Project has been helping communities gain access to clean, safe water by providing training, expertise and financial support for water project construction through staff and implementing partners.
Women and girls in sub-Saharan Africa are spending hours a day fetching dirty water which leads to illness and disease, robbing entire communities of their futures.

The Water Project addresses these real problems with practical solutions.

The Water Project empowers communities via locally-owned projects.
Yes, clean water is foundational and it’s at the foundation of the work done at The Water Project. But how it is done is important. The Water Project invests in local teams who provide clean water and unlock potential in the villages where people live. They implement local, customized, in-country solutions through national leaders based on the specific needs of the community, including new wells, rehabbed wells, sand dams, rainwater catchment systems, and spring protections.

The Water Project believes that water doesn’t change anything - people do. They teach, lead, and then step back to learn and grow. They celebrate the teams' innovations and victories, and they stand by and support them through difficulties or challenges.
"It is our profound conviction that, given the opportunity, our global neighbors are ready to innovate and lead themselves out of poverty. It is a humbling opportunity to accompany them for a time on their journey." -The Water Project

Accountability and transparency are at the heart of The Water Project's work.

The Water Project recognizes that accountability and transparency are critical. That is why every donation is linked to a specific clean water project, and they openly share field reports, map locations, photos, community information, stories, water project types, and more. By supporting The Water Project, we are not only confident that our donations are going to a good cause, but we are invited into a community to participate in the work and celebrate alongside the team.
